The Reading Camp Summer Programs

The Reading Camp provides summer programs. Each program is composed of ~20 sessions in a month.The programs can be either be by group(maximum of 20 students except for college and high school summer programs, which has maximum of 5 students) and/or one-on-one.


Summer Programs





Elementary & Intermediate Algebra
The student doesn’t need to have any background on any
algebra, The Reading Camp Algebra is one whole
package that consists of the topics from foundation of Algebra
up to the preparation for higher Math (Calculus) needed by
every student.

(for Grade 6 to Grade 8 students)
1st Batch:  
     March 31, 2014 to April 28, 2014 (Monday to Friday)
2nd Batch: 
     May 05, 2014 to May 30, 2014 (Monday to Friday) 



Trigonometry
Trigonometry is so called “the study of triangles”, which
has always been of great use in engineering, navigation,
physics and etc. College Trigonometry Program is a one
whole package. The subject requires the student to have
taken at least 3rd year High School Math (composed of
Elementary Algebra).

1st Batch:  
      March 31, 2014 to April 28, 2014 (Monday to Friday)
2nd Batch: 
      May 05, 2014 to May 30, 2014 (Monday to Friday) 



One-on-One Reading Program
The Reading Program is conducted on a one-on-one basis with 
direct instruction from qualified and trained reading teachers.
It focuses on the five key areas of reading instruction that are
scientifically researched-based namely: phonics, phonological
awareness, fluency, vocabulary and reading comprehension.
Different activities and customized plans are prepared for every
individual student that will improve critical thinking, vocabulary,
and fluency to become skilled reader and independent learner.

The reading program caters to kids whose age
ranges from 4 years old to 16 years old. One-hour assessment is
conducted prior to the program by appointment

1st Batch:  April 3 to April 30 (Monday to Friday)
2nd Batch: May 2 to May 30 (Monday to Friday)


Developmental Math
The main focus of Developmental Mathematics is to cultivate
independent thinking. We have used many methods and techniques
to achieve this goal. Understanding is the vehicle through which
thinking develops. The student must comprehend the mathematical
vocabulary he or she uses and be aware of the ideas underlying
the facts and rules he or she learns.
